Basic Instructions:

The printable area for a DVD is from 20mm to 116mm. You may download a template from our website or simply create a design that fills this area. Bleeds are not necessary. The arwork will be printed on the disc using silk screen printing. Normal Replication prices include the use of 5 colors. You may use process colors or spot colors. For most discs, a white masking layer is printed first, which counts as one of the 5 colors available.

Submitting Arwork

• Artwork may be submitted via e-mail, FTP, CD, or you can Web upload it here .
  
• Compress files for e-mail or FTP
  
• Include a harcopy or PDF of artwork
  
• Include all support files

General Rules

• All bitmaps must be 300 dpi at final print size.
• Minimum Type size: 4pt. for postitive, 6pt. for negative
• Minimum Line width: .25pt. for Positive, .35pt. for negative
• All files and supporting bitmaps must be in CMYK Color Space

Note:
Disc art is printed using a screen printing process. It produces different characteristics than offset/litho printing usually printed on paper stock. If you are unfamilliar the process please consult a professional designer.
